PASSAROWITZ
MAGNUM 1,5L

PASSAROWITZ 1718 is a wine suggesting both the German spirit (a certain neatness, austerity, force, rigour) and the Oltenian spirit (a first intense and fresh gustative attack, with a silky evolution and fine structure, concealing a rough and astringent finish). A balanced and strong wine enjoying an exquisite colour, in which the aroma of the wood it was matured in is perfectly integrated in the flavours of overripe black cherries, black currants, blueberries, sour-cherries, as well as that of dark chocolate, cocoa beans and vanilla. Corpulent, robust and extractive taste; wine’s acidity makes it slightly lively, with excellent promises as far as its future bottle maturation is concerned, and envelops its silky finish. This innovation in blending combines, beside the red, traditional varieties of the Mehedinţi area (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir), a noble “stranger” (Dornfelder), which adds distinction and a spicy aroma to the wine.
